Run For Life - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

About This Event

Run For Life - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! is a 5k race. The theme is one where civilians are chased by zombies. Zombies must bring their own costume/make-up , while civilians must where a white shirt. The civilians should specifically wear a shirt they do not care to be marked, because in order to tell if they have been captured by the ZOMBIES, the zombies will carry red markers to mark up their prey. Zombies can bring your own red (colored) markers, but we will try to provide for them! The theme is that we run for our lives, where all the proceeds will be donated to the fight for life for the unborn.

Meeting Area

For the Run we will meet at Burke Lake Park in the Carnival parking lot. There will be clearly sated signs directing to this lot. Those who do not belong too Fairfax county will be charge $10 a car. Unless you are driven in a car registered for Fairfax County.

The Course

The course is on a fairly flat, starting at the Carnival Parking Lot.

About the Societ

The Society of Saints Peter and Andrew was formed in the year of our Lord 2012. It's  purpose is to provide the world with the tools to better know, love and serve God.  At this site the tools used are that of both Eastern and Western Catholic traditions, hence our Patron Saints Peter and Andrew. The Society was inspired by Pope John Paul II's words in his encyclical Ut Unum Sint "the Church must learn to breathe with her two lungs."

We provide the daily scripture verses for both lungs, as well as the saint of the day for each one.

​

A religious store is also in the works, becoming a center for both Western and Eastern Catholic goods.  All of this is put together to fulfill our most important, which is  to let Christ shine through all of our Thoughts, Words, Deeds and Omissions.
